Pours a nice golden color with a large head that stays. Aroma is typical mild IPA. Taste is also mild with a mild hop bite. Very enjoyable. BOD 10-28-2024

Nearly clear amber brew with plenty of foam in the Brigand chalice. Distinct aroma of tangerine and eventually, pencil shavings. Mouthfeel is slippery and rather sharp. Taste is juicy with flavors of orange and mango. Seems like a lot of complex hops in the recipe, but at least they didn't use a heavy hand with them. Overall this is quite likeable and easy to drink, but rough around the edges. Plenty of flavor but increasing bitterness as you sip, and there is an astringency in the aftertaste. Dated 10/28/24.

16oz can purchased at Huckleberry's, in Spokane, Washington. A collab with Madewest Brewing, who I have not heard of before, it's name seems to be based on the manufactured conspiracy theory that birds aren't real. Canned on October 28, 2024, if the stamp on the bottom of the can is real.

Poured into a 16oz glass of undetermined type, it was an orange hued amber color, with a clarity somewhere between chill hazed and murky.

No surprise that the nose is hoppy. I get scents reminiscent of garden variety citrus fruit, tropical fruits, and pine needles.

Taste is fruit forward, about equally balanced between semi-sweet citrus and a pear like, white grape flavor. Midway through, there's a mild, peppery spiciness and some equally mild piney bitterness. Finish is softly dry. There's a malty backbone throughout that provides a mild contrast, but it's fairly restrained. In fact, almost everything is modestly restrained to a point that inspires drinkability.

Medium bodied, with a slightly oily and slightly crisp mouth feel.

This is an interesting hodgepodge of things that manages to come together really well. It goes down extremely easy. If it wasn't 6.7% abv, I'd recommend it as a sessioner. Maybe session it any, just on a night when you're not driving or working the next day

cool new one from these guys, the definition of modern ipa, almost without color or malt flavor and texture, and its lower bitterness compared to what a west coast used to be, but still hopped bigtime with all kinds of hop products, cryo, incognito, salvo, all of it and more, and the result is excellent, clean as a whistle, refreshing for being so hoppy, not in the least bit oversaturated, and with more of a pure mosaic complexion than i think most others are getting out of it, whatever the vehicle. very light golden and rather clear from the tap, near an inch of white head with good retention and some lace as it drinks. very fresh nose, things like green grape, apple cider, and just sliced open pineapple pop, a get flashes of pink grapefruit, tangerine, and new school sativa here too, very light malt complexion to me, but not totally invisible, juicy and vibrant, lush and mouthwatering, melon rind, white tea, and dandelion too. the flavor is more straight up mosaic, without the catty parts, oily and slick but still light overall, dry and without a fermentation profile really so the hops just burst forth from this, white wine, white peach, honeycomb, and fresh citrus, just a bit tropical without being cloying, and the hops start real early and at almost full intensity, tame bitterness later on, never vegetal in the least, and this is quick to drink, almost lager-esque in that regard, easy in body, high in bubbles, and more summery than wintery, but i would drink this anytime. this is what west coast ipa has become, and while the piney malty bitter ones will always hit for me, i like this take as well. i expect this to crush for them as long as they keep it around, gorgeous pint, brilliant with spicy food too!

16 oz. Can
PKGD: 10/28/24

Poured into a Trillium glass a pretty nice hazy pale yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, pineapple, guava, mango, peach, melon, nectarine, cantaloupe), pretty nice diesel/pine like. The taste is very nice hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, pineapple, mango, peach, guava, melon, nectarine, cantaloupe), pretty nice diesel/pine like. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty beer. Different take on the style.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint. Pours a slightly hazy, light to medium golden amber with a two finger white head with good retention and nice lacing. Aroma of dank and fruit hops, mixed over-ripe fruit, catty dankness and hint of grapefruit citrus. Flavor is biscuit malt, fruit hops, ripe mixed mystery fruit, green melon and a touch of onion; quite biscuity. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. Quite a novel flavor profile. The hop bill is very Mosiac, with a muddle of fruit and melon flavors and all supported by a very biscuity malt that is somewhat different than the old fashioned English style biscuit malt (maybe the flaked corn?). Hops a bit muddled, but it came together fairly well and grew on me as I drank it. Unexpected and a nice change of pace for a domestic IPA. pint glass.

16oz can from Boise Co-op. Clear golden pour, an initial towering foam head recedes to the spotty layer. Biscuity, pale malt aroma, grassy, fruity. Taste is hoppy and earthy, resinous, a little bit dry with some stickiness. Tasty little number.
