FRESH HOP PALE ALE
Brewing is the craft of blending science with artistry then introducing the mystical. Field to Ferment® exemplifies this adventure and represents a colossal collaboration between the brewery and our hop farmers. Nothing is fresher, nothing is better for a brewer. So, please do enjoy this beer absolutely fresh, and enjoy the adventure this beer represents…Because Fresh Hop Beer Matters! “Fresh hops are the best hops.” – VWP
Down & Dirty: 2-Row Pale, Pilsner, Munich, and Acidulated malt, and White Wheat with FRESH Centennial hops and Cryo FRESH Simcoe dry hop.
ABV: 6.1%
IBU: 35
Color: Dark yellow
Delicate citrus, floral and melon aromas lead into notes of fresh-cut grass and green leaf. Resinous pine accents the flavor, balanced by a firm but refreshing bitterness, with a crisp mouthfeel that finishes clean.

Look: Medium orange on the pour, which initiates a tremendous head to quickly form, slowly puckering away to a pillow and leaving awesome lacing behind
Aroma: Limes, lychee, floral notes, navel orange, kumquats, wafts of sweet onion, pink grapefruit, pine, and bready malt
Taste: Opens up with a blast of pine sap and grapefruit that hit hard and start developing depth. Limes begin to mix in along with lychee and floral notes that bring daphne and rugosa rose into play. More citrus enters near the close and light onion is noticed as well as pine and grapefruit resurface to close it out, along with a nice bite
Mouthfeel: Full, lightly slick, clean, medium-high carbonation, and clean on the finish with a touch of dryness
Overall: This is some tasty stuff. I rarely see this beer anymore but one of my locals just had some drop and even at 6 weeks old, I had to score some to try and review as it’s been years since my last spotting. Although muted, this beer is still amazing and even has hints of fresh hop character that show, which reminds me of how good it is and how ridiculous it must have been fresh. Always worth the try if you see it

Out of the fridge for about 10 mins before pouring into a pint glass. Bought at San Diego Wine and Beer; ~$4 for a 16oz can. Canning date 9/15/25, consumed on 12/11/25 (just made it).
A&S: good looking pour. A little over a finger of fizzy white head, which dies to a thin layer and is retained there. Some lacing. Oddly enough, the second pour into the glass is more of a creamy textured head. Pine, lemon, earth, grassy, and light malts.
T&M: Taste is a little less balanced than the aroma. Hop forward, grapefruit, piney, with some white pepper spice. Bitterness is delayed, but hits decently hard. Mouthfeel is great. Not overly carbonated, but still has that tingle, crispy. Medium body.
Overall: good, and probably even better if I wasn't right at that 3-month mark.

16 ounce can - $4.50 at Woodstock Beer Market in Woodstock, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a lightly hazy, yellowy-toned body with a two finger-high head of near white foam. Medium lacing.
Smell: A lemon-scented, 'fresh' herbal nose with supporting grapefruit, tropical hints, maybe a morsel of dried nectarine and subtle pine with a scaffolding of basic base maltiness underneath.
Taste: Again, for me, it leads with its lemony hints. Lightly bready supporting pale malt flavors. Floral, herbal-pine needles with soft, supporting tropical hints and touches of stonefruit, though they're bolstered bit a bit of warmth. Medium to medium-light bitterness. Drying with a light astringency and bitterness felt on the finish alongside a final lilt of lemon.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Pleasant.

Freemont lays it down like your local bricklayer. I mean, they have a good idea about the craft beer game. And right here, where freshness means everything, this beer is Kim K before she ever met a professional athlete - I’m talking clean AND fresh. And you know what? Raul wouldn’t mind birdying that putt.

Many thx to muchloveforhops3 for the can.
A - Medium gold color with some haze and frothy white lacing with light carbonation.
S - Big pine, floral, and citrus aroma.
T - Floral, citrus, some light melon, and ends with a just enough pine bitterness to even things out. Lingering fruity citrus and pine lingers on the palate.
M - Medium body with gentle carbonation.
O - Rock solid and packed with the right amount of flavor to match the ABV.
