Dark appearance with very little aroma and taste is a mild malt with a very thin feel. Not my favorite beer from Fremont at all.

On tap at the brewery.
Ruby chocolate with ran ring. 3.75
Blackberry and ash. 3.75
Cocoa-raspberry, touch of char, touch of bubblegum (!) and clean linger. 4
Dry, light to medium, slight chew. 4
Fruit over roast. Very much a porter in body and lack of big notes. Straight ahead interpretation of style; still waiting to be impressed by Fremont. 4
