Had on-tap 03/23/16 at Maine Beer Company in Freeport, Maine
Appearance - The brew is dark cola brown in color with a light, paper thin, silky head. Leaves a fine sheet of lacing around the glass.
Smell - Candy bar-like aroma of chocolate, caramel and nutty character. Wonderful. Reminds me of Snickers and/or Nutrageous.
Taste - Follows the nose. Chocolate and peanut nuttiness upfront, then a bit of caramel. Alcohol astringency hits near the finish, especially as it warms.
Mouthfeel - Near full in body with low, silky carbonation. Dry, boozy finish.
Overall - Pretty good. A bit hot, but the flavor profile is tasty. This one might do well to age.

Pours pitch black with a gorgeous creamy khaki head.
The aroma brings lots of dark chocolate and roasted coffee notes, as well as the faintest hint of dark fruit.
The flavor is very roasted with lots of bitter dark chocolate and char. There's a touch of fig and raisons, as well as a mild graininess.
The feel is full bodied and creamy as all hell. Slight alcohol burn with a good amount of bitterness on the back end.
Overall, a very good stout that is full bodied and incredible creaminess. Slightly more bitter and charred than I'd like on the flavor but this is still well done.
