Brewed: 5/22/18 Tasted 10/21/18 - So beyond the 90 day window suggested on the bottle. Picked up at a local bottle shop that focuses on wines and didn't look at the date.
Look: Massive, long lasting, off white head with large interconnected, soapy bubbles atop a crisp, golden-orange body with some haze. The head is impressive.
Smell: Fruity, piney, passionfruit and mango cut with earthy, green, floral hops. Orange-y citrus.
Taste: Much like the smell - sweet tropical fruit cut with earthy, piney hops. A little bit of dankness.
Feel: Medium-thick body, moderate resinous quality, soft carbonation that feels as pillowy as it looks. Bitterness lingers on the tongue.
Overall: While I'm sad I could not drink this beer fresh, it was still excellent. Not an IPA fan but would not pass this up if offered. Solid and jives with everything else I heard about Maine Beer Co.

500ml bottle dated 5/22/18.
Pours clear gold with a voluminous head of white. NIce lacing and retention. On the higher side of carbonation. Stale malt with some faint pine, cut grass and grapefruit in the nose. Medium bodied with a crisp but slightly tacky mouthfeel. Sweet malt on the palate with pine, citrus, and wet paper. Finishes with sweet malt and cardboard.
Not good and I feel like a jackass that I dropped $8.00+ on this bottle.

Thanks to JLindros for sharing this bottle.
A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice hazy golden hue with a thin white head that fades to leave light wisps and a thin blanket.
S - Aromas of generic hop bitterness, some pale wheat, generic old pine and hops, malt sweetness.
T - Taste is similar to the nose, very generic hop flavors. Little bitterness, tastes old and malty.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, clean finish.
O - Overall this was a rather underwhelming beer. Tastes like old Gumballhead.

Batch 001, bottled 5/22/18, but purchased at a bottle shop in Portland a couple weeks ago
BIg pillowy creamy head retains well with thick soapy lacing, tons of streaming bubbles pillowing at the top, very hazy mango orange color
Nose a bit of sweet candy like malt with generic tropical citrus fruit hops, some juicy orange and candied orange peel, a bit of that aged IPA hop character, candied tropical thing
Taste more of the same, generic tropical but pineapple, candied pineapple, some citrus, generic citrus and tropical, candied orange zest marmalade, mild to fair bitterness, ramping on the finish, a bit of aged tropical and citrus, but then spicy and a bit earthy as well, bready crust wheat doughy malt, with a little bubblegum as well, big rind and a little melon rind.
Mouth is med bod, a big creamy, hint of booze, nice carb
Overall def shows its age, although then again some of the more recent Maine beers were lackluster

Pours a very slightly hazy deep orange with a massive fluffy white head that was very well retained and left thin patches of lacing all the way down the glass. Smells of citrus, tropical fruits and a bit of malt. Tastes of melon, lemon, orange, mango, floral elements, a hint of pepper and a nice malt presence. Medium bodied, highly carbonated, mild to medium bitterness on the finish. Very well done.

[IMG] Poured ice cold on a very hot morning bottled 5/22/18 and got a massive 3 finger sticky white head that just covers the sides of the glass with beautiful thin lace. An attractive clear yellow orange. 4.5
Smell is papaya, earthy lovely hops, tangerine, Mellon, and some grapefruit rind. 4
Taste follows nice balance between tropical and bitter, really a cross of West and East Coast IPA, just a real enjoyable IPA. 4.25
Mouthfeel is a solid medium, with plenty of life, a tad dry, and drinks bigger than its 7% billing. 4.25
Overall another excellent beer from this brewery, just honestly sick of the price point and think 16 oz cans at $20 a wack and I will always have love for you. 4.25

Deep gold beer just shy of clear, with a huge foam head... Had this last year, and don't recall it being this good... Lots of tropical and citrus fruit impressions, highlighted with some brighter notes akin to berry, all underscored with a nice smooth malt bill... Overall presentation is clean and lean - not too juicy - allows a nice crisp malt and hop element to come through... Softly carbonated, mildly sweet, mildly bitter... 5/22/18 bottling...
