Look - bottled on 10/21/19. Beer is transparent, and pours out a deep caramel brown color, with a one-finger head that has excellent retention.
Smell - toffee, caramel, honey, roasted malts, and some coffee. sweetness smells almost like a bock. interesting profile from the smell alone.
Taste - the taste is much more like a standard brown ale. fairly light on the palate, and the finish is quite hoppy, which was not detected in the smell. the bite in the end makes it rather refreshing.
Feel - medium bodied, above average carbonation, and standard ABV at 5.8%
Overall - a fairly light brown ale that smells sweet but drinks hoppy. some nice characteristics from both worlds, including chocolate-y malts with piney hops. overall interesting.
