16.9 oz bottle into a tulip glass.

Pours a dark brown color with a finger of khaki head. Not much retention but leaves a ton of beautiful lacing around the glass.

The aroma brings notes of pumpernickel and raisin bread, as well as caramel, roasted malts, dark chocolate, and tons of coffee.

The flavor brings a lot of dark fruits along with rye bread, grainy malts, rich dark chocolate, and roasted coffee. Nicely hoppy on the finish.

The feel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Smooth and exceptionally dry.

Overall, this is a good porter. The addition of the rye malts adds an earthy and subtly spicy character. Nothing special, but still a good all around beer.
