5oz Draft Pour at tasting room
Look: cloudy amber brown, pouring a 1 finger head which slowly dissipated to nothing. Good lacing
Smell: sweet caramel, lightly toasted breast malt, rye spice, herbal and grassy hops. Medium strength
Taste: mellow toasty bread malt, with the swallow being some caramel like sweetness, and a touch a grassy hops. Finish carries these flavors as a stronger herbaceous hops and and darker malt takes over finishes it out
Feel: medium body, moderate carbonation, smooth near silky texture
Overall: Good brew, being one of the best rye beers I’ve had
