Nectaron is a hot new hop variety out of New Zealand, boasting big tropical and stone fruit aromas. We feature this hop prominently in this Double IPA, and found that it works in concert with Amarillo quite well. Aromas of pineapple, pine, grapefruit, onion/garlic, mango, and cantaloupe.

Ours a slightly hazy gold with a tall white head. Aroma is strikingly peachy with sweet citrus and subtle pine, onion, and garlic notes. Flavor follows suit with a lot of peach, candied malt, orange, lime zest, mango, and earthy, garlicky undertones. Very dry with a clean and smooth bitterness that never overwhelms the flavor. Overall, one of the best west coast style IPAs I have ever had. Like Pliny but with a more exotic hop profile. I hope this returns in the future.
