Reddish brown body, clear. Fluffy head, slightly whiter than cappuccino froth, leaves great lacing down the glass. Nose is raisin, tobacco, wet bread, orange, caramel malt, smoke. Taste is somehow bright at the beginning, almost wet sourdough, then smoke, caramel malt, coffee, the part of the bottom of a pizza crust that didn't get burnt but like almost did. Ends clean and bitter. Very light, easy drinking, moderate carbonation. Delicious.

On tap at Albany Ale and Oyster in Albany, NY.

This one pours a dark-ish brown color, russet and golden brown, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells roasty and toasty, with some bittersweet caramel, graham cracker, and smoke.

This has a wonderfully smoky vibe to it, like a campfire, with some caramel and graham cracker spice. It’s not overtly smores flavored, but it’s got a general smores energy, like sitting around a campfire. There’s a touch of hop spice, but nothing intense.

This is medium bodied, creamy, rich, and delicious.

This shows that even a regular old brown ale can become pretty delicious.
