Described as a "Hoppy Red Ale" - it comes off as a sibling to an IPA. Four different varieties of hops are used.
Cherry red with a hint of brown in color, it has a lightly hoppy bouquet.
Taste is another matter... Hops are up-front and complex. Some citrus and wheat notes... I know the malt is in there, but am not having an easy time finding it. Personally, I look for a little more balance.
Mouthfeel is light with a very nice staying power. The flavors linger.
Overall, nice, but very nearly an IPA.
