Deep golden colorm average white foam.
In the smell yeast, sugar, tropical fruit, maybe a bit too strong.
In the mouth more on the peach and apricot, with a touch of pink grapefruit.
Definitely pleasant and fresh taste.
Light aftertaste, but delicate, with a bit of persisting bitterness.
Pleasant.

10th Dec 2013: Open Baladin (Rome). Large glass from one of the many taps during a mini-lunchtime session while resting from site seeing.

Dirty old gold in colour, hazy with a full white head.

Fruity and yeasty nose: taste refreshing and also very fruity.

The beer as a whole was fine: my first ever 'craft beer' in Italy. Didn't really know what to expect. This was well made and interesting, the mixed fruit aromas and flavours were a real surprise (for some reason): a real fruit salad sort of thing.

Well carbonated, this suited the beer: it wouldn't have tasted right in cask form, it needed that 'fizz' to make it work.

From a 330ml bottle.
L: Hazy, orange/gold colour with a thin head. Carbonation visible through the haze.
S: Yeast & lemon.
T: Lemon zest, wheat.
F: Medium bodied, very dry, moderate carbonation.
O: Very dry. Lacks refreshment as a consequence. Otherwise, a reasonable Italian version of a Belgian pale ale.
