11.15 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best before 6/2017. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lemon, peach, pear, apple, pepper, clove, light banana/bubblegum, wheat, biscuit, light honey, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, bready malt, and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, peach, pear, apple, pepper, clove, light banana/bubblegum, wheat, biscuit, light honey, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, peach, pear, apple, pepper, clove, light banana/bubblegum, wheat, biscuit, light honey, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, bready malt, and light earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/yeast balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Minimal dryness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6.5%. Overall this is a very good Belgian style pale ale. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, bready malt, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
