Genova 25/7 2024. 33 cl bottle from from Conti, Via Banchi, Genova. Off-white label with the Tower of a fortress with some soldiers in armor.
Pours opaque murky golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as 0,2 cm thick layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor with a distinct yeasty touch. Sweet pale malts and rustic bread. Marzipan, sugar and sourish grains. Whiff of boozy fumes.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a boozy undertone. Lingers fo a while. Finish is semi-dry.
More than decent take on a Belgian Tripel.

A very nice abbey tripel!!! fruity, very enjoyable, very drinkable. The nose is excellent with clementine/yeast...in the mouth again the fruity note with other tastes of citrus, spices, yeast, alcool...aftertaste is a bit bitter. Good body. the result is: very good! SUPPORT!
