Pour is dark brown to black with hint of red edges when put to light, tight light brown head on top. Nose is lots of roasted malt, faint smoke and peat moss with assertive bourbon notes in back. Taste is a touch more peaty with light smoke and still tons of roasted qualities. Faint vanilla chocolate combo with a more balanced bourbon aspect. Creamy medium body but thins a bit in back.

An incredible russian imperial stout aged in wine barrels a minimum time of six month. Again, a beer similar of course to the original Imperial, but more vinous and with a wet wood touch. Very drinkable. Full body. Complex and enjoyable. a must to try!
