Don't normally like double ipa but this is a good beer. Seems like a different type of hop.

it is described as either a hoppy brown ale or a roasty IPA by the brewery. I found it to be a well-rounded IPA without the excessive bitterness sometimes found in these. the "roasty" flavor is not overwhelming either.
