A - Dark with small head that quickly disappears. Noticeable carbonation which isn't good for a stout in my opinion.
S - Metallic upfroat with some chocolate malts.
T - First thing I thought of when drinking this was pepsi max......again not good, that's followed by a bit more metallic notes abd some chocolate.
O - Not a good stout.

A - Pours a Cola colour with a tanned head that fades quickly
S - Chocolate Malts
T - Chocolate malts and a sticky chocolate finish. Quite nice
M- Medium Carbnation and light to medium body
O - The chocolate is definitely there but this is way too thin for a stout and slightly over carbonated

From 330 ml bottle into tall glass. Dark brown, dense with creamy tan head that fades quickly to patchy froth. S. Some chocolate notes, maybe a little cough syrup. T. This is the real disappointment. For a dark beer with brandy, cacao powder and tannin added, there is little to report. A little chocolate from the nose and a bit of back end dark grain but not much of anything. I have tasted it on at least two occasions, the second time allowing the beer to warm significantly, but to no avail. O. Was hoping for big things. Their Dark Ale is a solid, tasty dark beer but this has less flavour and is a let down.
