Appearance- Deep red, brown, caramel colors with lots of haziness. Pours a one finger head.
Aroma- Big grapefruit, pine, and very sweet caramel malts.
Taste- This is an incredibly well balanced beer with bright grapefruit, citrus, and pine hop flavors followed by a huge creamy caramel malt backbone. Sharp bitterness up front, but the deep malt mellows out the bitterness for a smooth finish.
Mouthfeel- As noted before this has a soft, creamy mouthfeel that makes this incredibly pleasant to drink. Medium bodied and despite the big malt presence this has a clean finish.
Overall- An absolutely great red ipa with an incredible mouthfeel and a great balance between bright hop flavors and deep caramel malts. Easily one of best beers I've had in Oklahoma so far, and one I hope goes to bottles/cans. (93/100)

On draft at McNellie's OKC. Pours a cloudy amber with a finger of creamy white head. It stays for a bit, leaving moderate lacing. The aroma's fairly light, but there's some citrus, melon, some grain and caramel malts. The malt predominates the taste and there's a touch of fruit with a piney hops finish. The bitterness is decent and lingers well. Medium mouth that's almost chewy. Another really nice offering from Mustang.
