I originally had this shortly after it came out and didn't care much for the taste and mouthfeel. However, I did accidentally order it another time or two and recently found some notes. I found that it generally got a bit better with age.
Arrived at the table in a pint glass with a finger of head. The beer itself was a cloudy and slightly pink ale.
Smell was of an abundance of hops and also a clear grapefruit scent as well.
The taste had hops and citrus, just like the smell. When fresh, I found that the taste was too brief, like something was sucking out all the flavor. Subsequent experiences had a bit of the same properties, but not to any huge extent. I actually got the hop bite and citrus zing I was expecting. The finish is a bit dry.
With the flavor now lingering, it is much more drinkable and enjoyable. Glad I accidentally ordered a few more before it was all gone.
