Sample from bottle at Copenhagen Beer Festival 2012. Golden ale with very moderate fruity hops in both aroma and flavour. Decent enough to drink, but there are many UK golden ales that are better.

Balanced British pale ale, nice caramel flavours from the malts with a slightly fruity hop finish.

Bought a 500ml bottle in Aldi.
Pours dark golden colour, nice head on it, light carbonation. Smells good, fresh no intense hoppy or malt. Pleasent. Taste is fresh hop nice and crisp really good. Feel is smooth fresh goes down a treat and the taste sticks around nicely no bitterness at all but neither sweet. Overall a really nice beer! Will have it again!

Bottled
Golden bodied with big foamy white head that does stick around
Aroma is subtle floral gums & brewing coppers
the Flavour is nearly there
dry golden syrup without the sweetness and slowly taken into a peppery bitter finish
Nice carb slightly thin mf
just very run of the mill

Hand pulled at Ye Olde Cock
A_Dark gold bordering on copper with a speckled cream head. Nice staying power, decent lacing.
S_Mild toffee aroma, slight spicy hop.
T__Caramel and toffee hit the pallette first. This is followed by a citic note and then some vegetal bitterness. Fairly well rounded with a decent sweet/bitter finish.
M_Slightly thin, low level carbonation. A bit of stickiness in the finish.
O_More malty than the name suggests however it is indeed a well rounded and tasty beer.

500ml bottle BBD 30 Apr 2013: broached on 13 Apr 2013 and poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard.
Orangey, pale amber body, clear and clean looking, the fast disappearing head was off-white before it left the building.
Fairly sweet nose and taste: malty feel to it, more than the HOP name suggests anyway. Caramel and toffee notes in both the aroma and mouth. The hops come alive towards the end of each sip giving the beer a crisp bitter finish, a nice beer. The alcohol helps to give the bite at the end also.
