Corn India Pale Lager. We used a generous amount of flaked maize in the grain bill and added a ton of hops, domestic as well as varieties from Australia and New Zealand, before fermenting it with our house lager strain. The result is a nice beer with huge tropical notes of citrus fruit, kiwi and white grape, and a light lingering bitterness that begs for another sip.

With a name like Amaizing IPL, you'd expect corn to play a significant role in this beer, and it does, from the appearance to the aroma and on through the taste.
This looks and smells like an IPA, but there's a crispness to it that reveals the lager characteristics. The taste is HEAVY juicy hops, with immense citrus flavors - and balanced by the sweetness from the corn. Really enjoyable, especially as a summer beer, I'd drink this all the time if I had access to it.
