A total of 10 different malts come together in Fork and Beans, painting the palate with waves of cocoa, roast, caramelized sugars and hearty toast. It's medium- to full-bodied, with a velvety mouthfeel. The coffee adds a dominant roasted-bean flavor and vanilla notes on the backend.

Pours black with some leakage to mahogany on the edges underneath a tan head, the nose has the coffee aroma as expected, but the treat is the presence of cocoa, char, and toffee aromas. This is decidedly uncommon in coffee stouts in my experience.
The coffee is forward on the taste, and it is accompanied by the cocoa, char, and toffee notes that presented themselves on the nose, especially the toffee. What a pleasant surprise.
The mouthfeel is aligned with a 6% stout. This is truly a pleasure to drink. Exceptionally well executed, IMHO.

took a day trip out to the north fork for some wine and was pleasantly surprised to see the new location on the wome trail...detour needed!!! tasters procured.
really nice stout with great soft hints of bacon and smokiness over coffee. excellent sweetness brings to mind MBCP, but this puppy smokes MBCP (picture MBCP in a stout form). super duper impressive. great to see such tasty beer coming from LI.
