Pours a pitch black color with a huge pillowy dark brown head. Decent retention with spotty lacing around the glass.
The aroma is of light cinnamon, doesn’t overpower as it can. Heavy roast and dark chocolate from the malt. Perhaps some carob and wood.
The taste is of a heavy roast, bitter. Big dark chocolate notes. Again there is a hint of cinnamon as well as brown sugar. Very earthy, noticeable wood flavors.
The feel is well bodied with prickly carbonation. A sweetness to start but is quickly crushed by the roasty bitterness. Sticky and dry in the finish.
A big roasty stout with a good use of cinnamon. A bit heavy on the bitterness though.

Canned 9/28/18
Near black pour, moderate dark mocha cap, leaves nice looking super fine sheeting and tiny bits of lacing.
Cinnamon and dark, bitter chocolate on the nose.
Rich, smooth and viscous.
More chocolate, coffee, yes again some cinnamon...worthy impy stout...nice night capper

Pours black with a two finger dark tan head that settles to a ring pretty quickly and left spotty lacing. There is a lot of tan floaties. Smell is rather mild with cinnamon, coffee and lightly roasted malts. Tastes of lightly roasted malts, coffee, bittersweet chocolate, cocoa powder and very mild cinnamon and brown sugar flavors. Medium bodied, lightly carbonated, dry mouth feel with an astringent quality.

Look: A beautiful dark black brew
Smell: Something spelled "off" to me, I can't place the smell I was picking up, but it wasn't appealing to me.
Taste: I'll admit it was a bit colder than I should have been drinking it, but once it warmed up a bit it did get better. A pretty smooth malty flavor. I didn't get any cinnamon at all, and it wasn't overally sweet.
Feel: Very smooth
Overall: It's a fine beer, nothing to blow my mind though. I have to say that for something that pushes "cinnamon" I was disappointed by the complete lack of cinnamon flavor. It's not something I'd seek out again, but I enjoyed the one I had.

Local to Locals release number 6, this one brewed by Greenport Harbor Brewing Company in Peconic, NY, way out on the north fork of Suffolk County, Long Island... 9/28/18 canning says, "Lend me some sugar," on the bottom of the can...
Thick, oil black pour into a nonic pint birthed a fat dark brown head a few fingers high... Aromas of dark roasted malts and cold black espresso on the nose are followed by a richly roasty mildly bittersweet semi-sweet chocolate stout... The sweetness is held in tight check, and oaky, dry cocoa char takes the fore... Suggestions of cinnamon are subdued - this is no "Mexican stout" - and the brown sugar sweetness is mild as well, making for what is, in my opinion, a superior stout profile... The body is full and smooth, but not too heavy, with a hint of stickiness and a nice, slightly sweet but drying roastiness across the tongue on the finish... An excellent stout, not too sweet, roasty, and dries out nicely on the close...
