Had on tap at the brewery in Greenport. It looks like the normal golden yellow you would expect from a blonde, with a good amount of head. The aroma stands out and I mostly got the honey with some hints of orange and some grassy hops. The sweetness isn't overpowering and that's good. I think this is a very solid blonde, one of the better blondes I've had, and I recommend it.

Reviewed on 9/30/2009 as "Summer Ale". On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear yellow with a thick creamy head. Aroma of light honey, bready malt, and floral hops. Flavor has just a hint of honey sweetness, some grassy hops and herbal notes. Nice and not too sweet. Better than I expected.

Greenport Harbor Brewing Company...on tap at Orient Point by the Sea Restaurant.
Appearance-a nice golden color, served in a chalace glass with a bubbly cracking head. Good color and carbonation.
Smell-sweet, honey appears, actually sort of clean, spice and hops are minor, malt is hidden.
Taste/Appearance-honey again, nice sweetness still feels a little filtered and clean but the light finish works well and I can't complain about the taste.
Drinkability-very drinkable, nice flavor and it's light.
Overall-fine beer from this new brewery. Probably a good "gateway" beer for the non-craft initiated. For all the things the brewery brags it puts in this beer it felt a little too clean but overall a good effort.

On draft at the brewery.
Poured a light copper hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was good retentiona and lacing.
The smell featured a grainy malt, grassy hop and touch of honey.
The taste consisted of a moderate honey sweetness, soft malts and a balancing hop.
The mouthfeel was toward the fuller side of the style.
Overall a tasty ale. Honey is not exactly my thing, but I enjoyed this ale nonetheless.
