09/29/13 On tap at Rattle n Hum, NYC. Nice balanced brew. Good body. Mismatched w/the overly spicy food I ate but that's no fault of Greenport. Need to give it a second chance.
Pony Bar lists it at 5.2 ABV

I had at Over the Eight in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
A. It is perfectly clean and clear, with a lovely straw yellow color. There are some bubbles throughout that leaves a limited head and little lacing.
S. It has a sweet, caramel scent to it.
T/M. Tastes kind of like a Sweet/Tart candy at first. Very sweet with a grape undertone. Has a mild hoppy bitterness. There are grassy undertones mixed with the sweet fruity punch that first comes with it. Light bodied.
O. For as flavorful as it is, it's not overbearing. Smooth throughout with a mild, enjoyable taste.
