I like this bar a lot. But I only really go here on Wednesday's when they have $2 draft beers!!!

They always have 5-6 decent craft beers on tap. This is decent on a normal day but it's totally awesome when they have $2 draft beers on Wednesdays. They almost always have Harpoon IPA and UFO and Holy City Pluff Mud Porter on draft. The other several taps rotate. Lately they've had several RJ Rocker's selections (from Spartanburg, SC).

When they've have some higher gravity beers on tap like Harpoon IPA or RJ Rocker's Bellringer than it is very easy to feel very good on a Wednesday night for less than $10.

This bar is tucked back off of the main street but it's worth it to find it. There is Skee-ball Whack-a-mole and a pool table. This is a great place to have a fun night with friends!

You have to do a little work to get here, but I've actually started to like it a bit more recently. Definitely a little dive-y from the outside, but they dressed it up a bit inside. A lot different than when this was the Palmetto or whatever they called it. The beer on tap is actually pretty good. Some nights are better than others in terms of atmosphere. There was no COAST, and that's always a bummer, but they had 4-5 good craft offerings on tap, 2 from SC, RJ Rockers, and Andygator. The service was okay, I got everything quickly, but the bartender didn't seem like he was enjoying his job. The list isn't massive, but for downtown Charleston, particularly some place on King St, I thought the selection was definitely better than most. And the prices were pretty good, at least as good as what you'd expect for craft beer around here. Overall, I figure I'll be back here from time to time, it's one of theplaces my friends like, and I'm always glad to have a few craft options available.
