330ml bottle bought from Lighthouse Wines, Jordanstown

Poured a nice golden orange colour. White head poured small but pretty thick then faded to light wispy coating with thickish edging... barely any carbonation... some decent lacing lines...

Aroma - Blast of juicy mouth watering fruits (grapefruits, oranges, limes, apples), lots of strong piney and floral hops, very perfumed, some talcum powder traces, light rubberiness, honey sweetness, some basil herbalness..

Taste - Lots of floral and citrus hop bitterness followed by light sugary sweetness, juicy tart fruits (grapefruits, lemons, pears), warming alcohol comes through, light caramel malts and hints of floral honey, some graininess, quite herbal and perfumed, coppery...

M&D - Smooth and creamy with a little sharp bite... medium / full bodied... pretty drinkable for a 8.1% brew although the alcohol is noticeable

Overall - A pretty good double IPA - full of flavour and very drinkable although the alcohol is a little on the hot side... recommended...

A transatlantic collaboration between Celt Experience (Wales), Ale Syndicate (Chicago) and Atlas Brewing (Chicago).

Brewed with 7 different hops, hence the name.

Rich, tropical pawpaw on the nose.

Hot alcohol comes through too strongly, which is shame given the lovely nose.

Thanks to Jeff of Hop Leaf HK for sharing this at a tasting.
