A review from some time ago, that seemed to not make it to the site.
Bottle purchased 28/10/13 consumed that week.
Poured into a standard beer glass, initial appearance red, but clear, like a golden ale, but red brown. Little to no head, although quite lively.
Aroma, earthy, but sharp, sourdough bread like.
Decidedly different, and quite sharp, tangy flavour with little malt, or firm body. Very upfront. Mouthfeel dry, sharp, leaving an acid film/coating.
Not my personal favourite, by any means. However completely different to expectations. I get the feeling it was either too old, or too young. Lack of experience of this style, giving me no yardstick to compare it to.
