For our new Vintage Ale 2015 the core ingredients remain the same as previous years, with the addition of Enigma hops from Australia.
As with all our Vintage collection we have included some oak character, this year from a proportion of burgundy aged barley wine blended into the finished beer.

From a 500ml bottle.
L: Dark ruby. Has a fantastic red glow when back lit. Opaque. No carbonation visible. Half finger off-white head reduces to a smear.
S: Despite drinking this quite cold, the nose is rich with molasses. Has floral notes as well.
T: Solid malt base, oak, and raspberries. Sweet, not bitter. Delicate for the style.
F: Medium body. Faint carbonation. A little creaminess. Finish is semi-dry.
O: Very nicely balanced. Easy-drinking strong ale.
