Reviewed from notes. From my AZ trip. The appearance was a hazy golden color with a light half finger white foamy head(good bar pour), decent light lacing. The smell had some strong wheat up front like a good APWA should. I do get some lemon and actually don’t know if that’s from the lemon that was put on the side or not, I tried to pull it as quick as possible before it could affect anything. The taste had a nice wheat bite up front holding its own all the way throughout the entire consumption. The aftertaste had the wheat do but is slightly subdued, no finish. On the palate, it sat about a medium on the body, somewhat sessionable and the carbonation is decent for the style and for me as there’s nothing obscure, but there’s also a finishing wheat bite sticking to the mouth and tongue. Overall, this is probably one of the most wheat forward APWA’s I’ve ever had yet still worthy of coming back to.

Bright golden color on this beer. Good clarity. Minimal head, but lively carbonation. American wheat aroma all the way, but actually the aroma is a bit cloying. The mouthfeel is a bit heated and thick for the style. The flavor is actually a bit off putting and this just seems off balance.

Windstorm Wheat w/ Liberty & Tettnang dry hops on cask
The beer arrives from the cask with a typically, pretty, cascading pour. It is topped by a light tan head that leaves some nice lacing on the sides of my glass. The beer is a hazy, straw gold color that is quite opaque. This has a bright hoppy nose to it that is herbal and fairly citrusy. Specific notes of orange zest, some Meyer lemon and dried herbal / grassy notes that are accentuated by the pale malt / wheat as well. Some pale maltiness is here as well with a soda cracker like wheat character.
Light bodied, sort of cream-sicle orange flavor, fairly dry tasting. Wheat / pale malt cracker character, somewhat toothsome. Lighter bodied, quaffable, but not overly light; quite smooth, though has a touch of carbonation. Cream-sicle note is a bit weird somehow, finish also has some dry, slightly hay like, sort of grassy grain finish to it. A light herbal note accentuates some of the grassy notes and there is a touch of hop spice here as well.
Not bad, like the hoppy nose, but the flavor is for some reason a bit disjointed and weird; some of that is just being a bit too picky though, as this is still fairly enjoyable.

hazy to cloudy orange hued maple wood stain color with a minimal white ring for a head.
it smells like a burlap sack... wet wheat and a bit of savory yeast.
the flavor is very mild... almost lacking?... rich wheat, soapy/floral hops, a faint lemony note and a lightly spicy finish. it is medium bodied with soft creamy carbonation. there is not much going on... but it is in no way bad...5/4/5/3/13/3.0

I really liked the place, and their other beers, but I regretted ordering this one.
For a brewpub wheat beer, it was pretty "clear" looking, and the head was somewhat lacking. There was a fat slice of lemon in there too; I'm not sure if that hurt or helped. I never remember to request "no lemon!" Oh well.
I can't really find the wheat, or the yeast. Or a whole lot else.
Very, very light flavor, body, and carbonation. Not much here.
I wish I started with the amber instead. There are no bad or "off" flavors, but there aren't any very good flavors either.

Light gold color, slightly cloudy. Small head. Aroma is grassy and sweet. A light flavored light bodied wheat beer. Light body, good flavor with some malt taste. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp. Aftertaste is neutral. A light and refreshing wheat ale.
