A medium bodied European style pilsner, characterized by it's light color and moderate hop bitterness.

Light yellow color, clear, but with a solid half-inch sustaining head of fluffy white foam. Good lacing. Plenty of bubbly carbonation. The aroma is a bit weak, with a light maltiness and lemon zest. The taste is bready and lemony, with some bitterness toward the finish that seems perhaps more sour than bitter. Nothing too exciting but refreshing enough for a hot summer day. The mouthfeel is light, but has a decent creaminess to it. Definitely not watered down. Good attempt for the style, worth a try...

Pours a clear gold color, and is topped with a white head that leaves a nice bit of lacing as I work my way through the glass. The nose is slightly spicy with notes of grass and grain. The taste finishes with a nice light bite of hop bitterness. This is nice and clean just like a good lager should be. It has a nice subtle mix of grain character and spicy hop flavor. This is quite refreshing and a good example of a light Pils, with no apparent flaws. A bit more spicy hop flavor would be more to my liking but this is a good attempt nonetheless.
