This is the 4th edition of the Wild West Sour series. This beer saw over 14 months of aging on tart cherries in cabernet wine barrels. A deep sour flavor balanced by a bright tartness makes this one not to miss.

Had on tap TC brew pub at Tucson airport. Informed...14 months in Cabernet wine barrels with addition of tart cherries. Brett, lacto brings the tartness.
My take on it was very nice non astringent tartness but not sour really ( vs as advertised).
Copper beer with brief head and no lacing. Looks like an Amber lager or ale. Essentially unremarkable. Good barrel influence... wood; wine. Cherries present but complementary not prominent.
Stand out maltiness from what I understand to be the base amber ale. Smooth hybrid... but a bit heavy. Not really sure what this is, but it has a nice taste/ easy sipper.
Was served standard 20oz in Konick glass...and Yikes...this was a bit much. I would prefer @ 8oz in wine glass. Hated to walk away... waste so much.
Pleasant interesting beer. But unlikely I’ll seek out.
