The beer known as maibock was traditionally brewed to be ready in may. It is referred to as Helles. This light colored beer is crafted with traditional German grains and hops. It holds a lot of character in the light body.

had this one a while ago. at the brewery, from the tap, poured a nice golden color, with a white head that left some good lacing. aroma yeast, wheat, honey, citrus. flavor wheat , honey and yeast a dry mouth feel on this one. didn’t care to much of this one.

On tap at the brewery's pub.

Very clear with a light golden colour topped with a thin white head. Light aroma with some malt and a little noble hop character. Quite a pleasant flavour, with a noticeable malty sweetness and just a bit of light bitterness that balances things very well. It does have a slightly spicy flavour, nearly peppery, that comes through near the finish. Lightly carbonated, medium body and nice smoothness. The finish was sweet, but didn't build up over the pint, making it a very enjoyable beer.

Nice new offering from a great microbrewery.
