This golden-colored Belgian Pale Ale includes Belgian Candi Sugar and coriander, as well as sweet orange peel which imparts a slightly citrus quality to the beer. The result is a sweetly spiced beer with very low hop and malt characters ... A great summer thirst quencher.

Reviewed 10/26/2007 (Tap @ Dragonmead Brewery, Warren, MI):

Pours a clear pale amber colored body, with a pure white head, small bubbles. Flowery, almost skunk. Spices, deep woods. Not too strong. Floral, light flavor. Some spices, watery. Somewhat bitter aftertaste. Somewhat alcoholy.

The color on this one was a yellowish-orange and a little foggy. It smelled nice and flowery (you know, the hops that I like). It was sweet and malty and a good mouthfeel. There was some lacing. This one was good and I would definately have it again.

Poured a nice highly carbonated copper color with a thick white head. Big Belgian estery aroma, sweet bubblegum and pear give way to a cola like aroma and cinnamin, as it warmed I picked a note of burnt popcorn (I might have been having a stroke though). The flavor is malt forward, biscuit and breadlike, some bitterness with a crisp finish. The body is light, good for a summer thirst quencher. This is a great addition to the summer line up, and a nice alternative to the witbiers everyone else is offering.
