A light brown beer flavored with brown sugar and honey, this beer is refreshingly light. Pale, Crystal and Chocolate Malts combine with Hallertau, Fuggles and Mt. Hood hops to create a complex but light taste.

From cask at brewery. Dark black-brown. Heavy head quickly dissipates. Very faint nose of caramel malt. Cask gave it a thin mouthfeel but fullness of flavor: leather, bread. Honey adds a sweet twang on end of sip.

had this a few months ago. poured a nice mahogany with a tan head. aroma, sweet, a nice mixture of honey and chocolate malts with bits of hops poking through . flavor, the chocolate is the first to come out, the honey is not as robust as the aroma which was a little disappointing and a nice hop finish. not to bad

A well made American Brown. Presented a medium brown color with a tiny head of foam that quickly dissipated. Aromas of honey and malts were very appealing. Flavor was light and smooth, with overtones of malt, honey, wood, earth and mild grains. Nice. Mouthfeel was a bit thin, but still had an enjoyable slickness about itself. Good drinkability. I'd like to have this again. Recommended.
