Rerate, 500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 7%. Dark reddish brown colour, moderate beige head. Strong and sweetish malty aroma, notes of caramel, oak, brown bread, molasses, hints of fortified wine and a touch of peated malts. Rich and malty flavour, notes of caramel and chocolate, only a hint of peat, a little fruit increases the drinkability. A well brewed beer! Original rating: On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Ruby colour, decent beige head. Malty aroma, some oaky and vinous notes. Very malty flavour, notes of caramel and oak. Nice beer!
