Rerate, on tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Pink to red colour, moderate off-white head. Aroma of sour cherries and raspberries, hints of oak. Sour cherries and other sour berries in the flavour too, medium dry, very refreshing.
Original rating: Sample from bottle in the Malt & Humle tent at Gladmatfestivalen 2014, Stavanger. Reddish colour. Aroma and flavour of sour cherries, very tasty. Will certainly buy again, and rerate.

Poured from just under fridge temp. Pours a nice orange/dark brown. Nose is malt, rhubarb, cherries, sugar. Taste is mild sour, cherries, lactose. Mouthfeel is light. Overall, a nice beer.

A - Looks pretty unique: the color is some kind of blend of pink, brown and amber. Pretty damn hazy, and almost none existent head.
S - Sweet cherries up front, with a marzipan flavor I associate with these kinds of fruits. Some kind of doughy, or peanut shell character fairly up front. Some dark chocolaty roasted character in the background. Doesn't smell particularly sour.
T - Although it isn't very sour on the nose, the taste is plenty - though fairly restrained, particularly when it comes to finishing as it doesn't give the long lasting puckering from other sours. The taste profile is fairly straight forward and simple, very pleasant interplay between the fruit flavors and chocolate. Probably one of the cleanest sours I've ever had, there is very little to no funk as far as I can tell.
M - As far as sours go it is restrained when it comes to degree of souring/tartness. Carbonation is about medium - high and a medium body.
O - A fairly simple and clean kriek - if you're looking for more complex examples steer away. Personally I really liked the interplay between chocolate and sweet fruits, and it's nice with some restrain as some beers can get a bit bold in the sour styles imo. Awesome drinkability and very refreshing.
