500 ml bottle, as Ægir Vetlebror Session IPA, from Helgø MENY Jørpeland. ABV is 4.7%. Slightly hazy golden colour, large white head. Fairly nice aroma of fruity / citrussy hops, also notes of spruce. Light bodied. Dry hoppy flavour, notes of spruce, pine and dust, hints of grapefruit. Not bad.

L- It's one of those cans where the whole top peels off. Mid amber, slightly hazy, pours with 5-10cm white head that's holding well.
S- Distinctive, citrus fruit towards grapefruit end of things.
T- Oh yes it's hoppy and dry, and grapefruit is again the way to describe it's over-riding flavour. But what I will say is unlike several other beers I've had recently with such 'citrus hopping' this one isn't a sledge-hammer. It's clearly v hoppy and 'dry', but there is a balance to it.
F- hoppy, dry, very refreshing without the risk of over-kill.
O- I like it and would buy it again. It shows that this kind of hop-profile can be achieved whilst maintaining an overall balance. Nice to know as I've recently becoming warey of buying any more 'hop-bombs'.
I bought this from Wholefoods in London W8 priced at £2.29 for a 330ml tin, not cheap but then very little in or from Norway is. I bought this together with another Aegir beer, and it was the first time I recall ever seeing Norwegian beers retailed in the UK. BB: 12/12/18

This is my favourtie style of IPA. Hazy orange in colour and full of citrus and sweetness in flavour. Smells of said citrus and light grassy notes. Very enjoyable

From a 330ml can.
L: Dark orange colour, opaque, with some carbonation visible. The two-finger, off-white head is open and lumpy and leaves lots of lacing.
S&T: Herbal, grassy, light pine.
F: Medium body. Dry, spicy, light carbonation. Short, flat, unsatisfying (consequence of the low ABV).
O: This is a session AIPA making a good job of imitating a regular AIPA. Does very well for 4.7% ABV.

Golden amber. Slight haze. Thick frothy head which subsides quickly.
Aroma of pine and citrus fruit.
Mild flavour reflective of the aroma. Some grassy notes. Light astringency.
Moderate carbonation with a smooth tingle.

Pours semi clear dark honey coloured into a glass from a can with one of those extra large caps. The offwhite head is foamy, clingy and about two fingers high before it recedes.
Aroma is very much American IPA + a metric f*ck ton of grass, leaves and hops. It's incredibly fresh, giving off an odour like a humid forest. I can't detect much malt presence at this point, if there is any, it's probably buried underneath all the humus.
The flavour is quite unique. It has all the citrus and crisp trappings of a good IPA but with a very strong leafy focus. This equates to sticking one's head in the grass pile and getting a mouthful; combine that with a powerful hop presence and you get a very Scandinavian feeling IPA. But the hops aren't stewed in any way, bringing a balanced bitterness in their wake. There's also a lot of pekoe and almost Darjeeling black tea flavours rolling around in the aftertaste, providing a very refreshing and aromatic brew.
Body is light, crisp and dry on the finish with zippy carbonation.
Overall I'm loving this ale, it's everything I want from a session IPA.
