I tried this bear at a lobster restaurant just outside of Bar Harbor. It poured a clear amber with white head that left a spotty lace. The scent had caramel malt notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with caramel malt base and slight crisp hop finish. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

This was poured into a pint glass at the brewery. The appearance was a nice looking hazy amber to red color with a slim cap of a white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some light lacing sticking and then sliding. The smell had a decent roasty creamy nutty to caramel maltiness glossing underneath my nose. The taste was mainly sweet with an ample roasty caramel - ness to it. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was there with a decent smooth quality to it. Overall, not a bad beer but mostly just okay.

Draft pint at The Docksider in Northeast Harbor, ME - a cool little fishing shack on the harbor near Acadia National Park. Medium brown in color with red highlights topped by a beige cap that retained. A nice fresh aroma, floral and grassy. A lightish smooth sipper with a grassy biscuit taste and a tangy finish. Good with the grilled haddock and mashed potatoes.
