Very impressed by this one. Rich malt which comes across as a mixture of forest honey, sweet flowers and caramel. Really tasty. Bottle, 2 months before BBD

Pours a clear, golden coloration with a medium, frothy head. Smells of doughy, quite grainy malt and grassy, herbal hops, with just a hint of citrus coming though as well. Taste follows the nose, with a great balance of doughy, quite grainy malt and grassy, herbal, slightly floral hops, as well as some accents of citrus zest. Finishes with a light bitterness and some grainy malt and grassy, herbal hops lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.

A very nice, quite crisp and refreshing Helles that really has a great balance of malt and hops to it, with the slightly sweet and quite grainy malts standing out a bit more here, being rounded out rather nicely by the grassy, slightly zesty hops. While this drinks really easily and more'ish, there's still a certain richness to it thanks to that firm malt body. Overall, this makes for a very enjoyable Helles with a great malt/hop balance that drinks very easily and refreshing, yet retains a certain richness of character, with a very pleasant mouthfeel as well.
