Look it's grand. Light gold pour, medium head, mid carbonation. Feel is thin although has a slightly creamy and dry hoppy finish. Nothing particularly special, but nothing unpleasant either. Like someone else said, I was surprised to find that it was from Guinness.

"Oh Satzenbrau" - you might say.
"D'ya know, I've seen this in the fridge 1000 times, but I've never actually drank one" - you might add.
"I'll give it a go, what's the worst that could happen" - you might think.

Stop. Stop right there. Don't waste your time. It's no good. It's not even bad enough to be interesting. Buy something else. Just look a few inches to the left, pick up whatever it is that you see and buy that.

500 ml can into Pilsener Urquell pint glass in low altitude Galway, Ireland. Acquired at Aldi stores.

A: Pours a five finger head of fair thickness, no cream, and good retention. Clear yellow colour. Not particularly appealing.

Sm: Some cream, fresh barley. That's it.

T: A simple stale taste of clean barley with slight cream undertone hints. It refreshes but is stale at the same time, which isn't particularly pleasant. The finish is stale and bland. Built crappily for the style, but balanced in terms of what it has available - which isn't much.

Mf: Too smooth and wet, with an artificial injected coarseness on the climax. It's stale and largely unrefreshing in terms of mouthfeel.

Dr: Cheap and crap. Buy other pilseners. A huge disappointment coming from Guinness.

Had this in Ireland recently. The appearance is nothing special--pale yellow in color & fizzy. The smell was OK -- hoppy and the barley cuts through. The thing I enjoyed about this beer was its dry finish. This is a smooth brew and I enjoyed drinking it on a warm Ireland day outside. Could be a fine session beer.

Poured a medium straw hue with a half finger foamy white head. There was decent retention and good lacing.

The smell consisted of a mild sweet grain with a smattering of noble hops.

The taste featured a plain clean malt light light hop spice and light residual sweetness.

The mouthfeel was clean and crisp.

Overall a very drinkable pils ice cold.

I am surprised to see that this is a Guinness product, it really wasn't marketed that way from what I saw. Very pale in color with a medium fizzy head. A bit of a fruit aroma and some residual sweetness. Taste followed suit. Quite weak all around but balanced and I did get some hoppy bitterness in the finish. Tasted rather adjuncty at the front though. When the can says it tastes mellow, you can believe it's going to taste really, really mellow. More of an alcohol delivery system than anything else.

440ml can

Pours with an amber hue with a decent although whispy head

Smell is dry and slightly musky

Taste is dry and hoppy, not quite as hoppy as many czech offerings but hoppy none the less. Dry but with a hint of fruit

Easy enough to drink, an ok pilsner, but nothing world changing
