Enjoyed a few samples at the Guinness Museum / Brewery in Dublin. Review from notes. This is apparently a new pale ale that is distributed only to Dublin Pubs for the warmer months of this year. It may be brought back, but info from Guinness indicates that it also might be a one-off. Style and ABV are best guess based on Untappd, and Guinness site. Apologies for any errors.
Appearance - Bronze with reddish hue, clear and capped with a decent little nitro assisted cap of head.
Smell - very floral with light notes of sweet citrus. Actually floral to the point of me thinking that maybe flowers were actually involved in the brewing process
Taste - Mostly floral again with some light citrus
Mouthfeel - Good carbonation with the nitro keeping this well carbonated and very creamy
Overall - An interesting take on a pale ale, I wouldn't turn down a pint of this as it was one of the more satisfying beers I enjoyed at Guinness.
