Keg halfpint at Fealty’s Bar, Bangor. ABV 5.5%. Despite ordering only a halfpint, I was offered a free sample first: "It’s not for everybody". Deep golden colour, white head. Moderate aroma, some citrus. Dry flavour with plenty of Citra hops, good bitterness.

look: one finger white head which quickly dissipates to a few scattered bubbles, beer is amber coloured, clear, a few bubbles rising through the beer.
smell: smells perfectly acceptable, nice biscuity malt with some caramel sweetness, definitely a citrus fruit aroma, mainly lemon, and a nice presence of bitterness, some pink grapefruit, smells mild but nice.
taste: there isn’t a lot going on but what is there is alright, a lot of malt flavour for a beer that’s named after hops, those malts are light and biscuity and give a sweetness, lot of caramel sweetness, perhaps some diacetyl, those fruit flavours don’t really shine but they are there, lemon and orange and pink grapefruit, finish is lightly bitter and clean, it’s nothing special, but not as poor as the reviews make it out to be.
feel: light bodied, highly carbonated, very much a session ipa, clean, refreshing, maybe a touch watery, flavour does not linger at all but the bitterness does to a degree.
overall: is it the fruity juicy citra fuelled ipa it claims to be ? no. is it terrible ? no. it’s fine.

330ml from Morrison's supermarket (£1.25):
Really poor stuff from Guinness here, this one is one of the worst from the brewery that I can remember trying with only their Rockshore Irish Lager & their Dublin Porter scoring worse for me. The beer looked a little light & clear when poured which was somewhat disappointing & the nose was a little basic without being a bad one but things fell apart come the taste with none of the promised juicy flavours of citrus that I'd been expecting, it was quite a light & watery beer with a one-dimensional feel & I'm now cursing the fact I have three more of these to get through.

Pours clear, gold in color with one half inch head. Taste is lemon rind, light pineapple and black tea. Medium bodied and carbonation, slightly bitter. Solid and sessionable but I am left wanting more citra.

Can. Morrisons, £5 for 4. Just released, 9 month bbd.
Aroma of lemon jif, touch of orange peel. Taste similàr, rather insipid. Mild bitterness. Silghtly dry finish.
A bit of a characterless beer, reminds me of shandy except it's 5%. I don't think it's the worst Guinness have done but once again they show how poor their non porter/stout beers are
