On tap at the Black Stuff (Udine) in 2022.
Clear copper body with ruby nuances; small, creamy off-white head, mostly lasting with some lacing.
Moderate malty (caramel, toffee, some toasted) and light hoppy (herbal) aroma with notes of dried fruits.
Moderate sweet and light bitter flavour; average-lasting sweet finish where the alcohol is quite evident.
Medium body with oily texture; flat carbonation.

I had this on tap at some pub in Salzburg whilst waiting for the Aug to open.
A: Molasses color with creamy thin head.
S: Sweet, malt aromas.
T: Sweet, with a slight bitterness in the aftertaste.
MF: Smooth and soft in the mouth.
D: Pretty high drinkability, although I only had one and had to run.
Recommended.

Had this in London, hand pull tap. Served around room temp. It was a good medium brown color with a full, healthy head of foam.
Fresh, moist, toasted malt aromas.
Taste the malts, a slight, pleasant sweetness, caramel. Smooth and creamy like a good guinness.
I enjoyed it thoroughly, would like to have been able to try some food with one.
Doing this from memory.

Dark amber brown, clear body with a finger and a half of dense, creamy light khaki head. So far so good. Toasted malt aromas mix with caramel-toffee, checked by light alcohol and traces of bitterness. A little unbalanced. Sweet toasted malt flavors up front. Some fruitiness with caramel and shortbread. Maybe a little cardboard ? Hops provide some balance: spicy and bitter to slightly astringent. Finish is slightly warming and sweetish. Medium bodied and not bad.

A strong version of the Kilkenney Ale. Substantial malt backbone with a smooth sweetness that's balanced well by the alcohol and subtle hop flavor. I setteld into a couple pints of this gem a on visit to the Victory Navy Pub in Milano. Cin cin!
