Guinness 0 boasts a beautifully smooth taste, perfectly balanced flavor, and unique dark color, similar to Guinness Draught, brewed to be non-alcoholic.

To create Guinness 0 the St James’s Gate brewers, start by brewing Guinness exactly as they always have, using the same natural ingredients; water, barley, hops, and yeast; before gently removing the alcohol through a cold filtration method. The cold filtration process allows the alcohol to be filtered out without presenting thermal stress to the beer, protecting the integrity of its taste and character. The brewers then carefully blend and balance the flavors to ensure the distinctive flavor profile and taste characteristics of Guinness.

The resulting product is a non-alcoholic stout that is unmistakably Guinness, inspired by the same dark, ruby red liquid and creamy head, hints of chocolate and coffee, smoothly balanced with bitter, sweet and roasted notes.

Aroma: Hints of roasted coffee and chocolate

Appearance: Dark Ruby Red with a creamy head

Taste: Smoothly balanced with bitter, sweet, roasted notes

14.9 oz/441 ml can into willi becher glass, canned on 11/22/2025. Pours nearly opaque dark brown/black color with a 1 finger dense and creamy khaki nitro head that lasts the whole glass. Thick soaply lacing down the glass as you drink. Great cascading effect as usual, some of the tiny nitro bubbles were stuck on my glass. Aromas of milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, vanilla, nuttiness, brown bread, light coffee/fruit/Irish yeast earthiness. Taste of big dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, nuttiness, brown bread/crust, charcoal, wood, peppercorn, pine, herbal, light fruit/Irish yeast earthiness. Medium pine, woody, roast/charred bitterness on the finish. Low carbonation and light-medium body; a fairly silky/grainy mouthfeel, with lingering char/resinous hop dryness, some remaining astringency. Smooth and fairly rich flavors. Tastes like a clean and well make dry stout. Not too yeasty or fruity, still feels like a Guinness from what I remember.

Very close to regular Guinness in taste and drinking experience. I had this in an Irish pub and had a great time.

L - Classic guinness nitro pour - black with mahogany highlights with a creamy tan head that sticks around and leaves some lacing behind
S - roasted malt, mineral, some light chocolate notes
T - pretty close - notes of milk chocolate, roasted malt and barely, with slight citrus notes on the backend (not present in standard guinness)
F - light bodied with light carbonation
O - a pretty decent approximation to standard guinness - probably one of the better NA beers I've had

Drinking out of a Guinness pint glass.
Pours a black mahogany with a full tan bead.
Smell somewhat disappointing, expected a stronger roasted malt smell.
Good creamy mouth feel.
Tastes somewhat watery.
I swear I’ve had much better Guinness recently.

can into glass
Ah, the nitrogen ball, releasing the tiniest of bubbles, to create a thick, meringue like tan head. The pour creates rising waves, that produce that head. Opaque and nearly black in appearance. Moderate amount of dark toasted wood and grains, with a bit of cardboard, for the aroma. Medium light level of dark toasted grain with a bit of a wood bite, for the flavor. A medium light body with the nitrogen providing some creaminess, to the mouthfeel.

Didn’t expect to think much of this one, bought a 6 pack many moons ago for a friend who can no longer drink alcohol. I kept one just to make sure it was okay.
The pour is very reminiscent of a regular Guinness but the taupe color of the head was a bit different. No lacing until I reached the bottom of the glass and then it was a solid wall of it.
The taste is similar enough to regular Guinness that I could drink one or two without a problem. There are a few different aspects though, a bit of metallic notes and some char- faint but no noticeable.
The feel is sadly lacking. I know nitro tends to front load all the carbonation and this is exactly that. Very flat.
OA, if I needed to drink NA beer for some reason, I’d be happy picking some of these up.

Pours dark coffee with big frothy signature foamy cap and silky smooth “Genius” brand finish. Really good considering 0% abv and flbor.

14.9 oz. nitro can poured into Guinness pint glass

L: classic black and beige look with a super thick and creamy-looking head of beige/light tan foam; the beer isn't black but looks it, shows clear dark amber up to light; the head retention is fantastic, and it's fairly sticky

S: roasted coffee beans, oak wood, earthy; dark bread

T: roasted coffee beans, oak wood but not quite as earthy as the nose suggests with some nice hints of sweetness; dark chocolate, semisweet baker's chocolate, cacao beans, plenty of wood with a hint of char on it; at times it reminds me of a flat white or cappuccino with a pinch of sugar tossed in

F: thin, watery, weak ... nitro sucks; it always looks like beer but feels like water; FWIW I'm a huge cask ale lover, but nitro is not similar in any way; I think I felt the slightest tickle of carbonation-like crispness on one sip, so I didn't rate it a 1, but I'd love to taste a properly carbonated version of this brew

O: despite the nitro letdown in the mouthfeel, this is a fantastic N/A version of the classic stout; it's loaded with good roasty flavors and has just enough sweetness to push beyond balancing so you can actual taste some of the sweet chocolate notes

440 ml nitro can, as Guinness Draught 0.0 Alcohol Free Stout, from a grocery store in Brighton, consumed at home. Black colour, moderate but nice and creamy nitro head of good retention. Malty and roasty aroma and flavour, surprisingly similar to the "ordinary" Guinness Draught. Well, not identical, of course, but more than good enough when you need a n/a alternative.

(review from August 2022) Almost as flavorful as a regular Guinni with good mouthfeel for an NA. If'n I've got to drink a non-alcoholic brew, this is one of the few I'd choose.
