Appearance: a light yellow color. completely hazy and opaque. almost no head and no sticky lacing.

Smell: sweet, bananas, slight bubble gum and cloves.

Taste: varied notes of banana and bubblegum. sweet wheat malt and a good chunk of clove. alcohol is apparent even for the relatively low alcohol.

Mouthfeel: light and refreshing. too sweet though

Overall: a good a decent hefe. a bit too sweet but overall drinkable and pleasant. some stylistic flaws with the lack of head and alcohol stick out though

This was the only highlight of the WAB. The beer is a hazy gold nice heavy head. The aroma is light clove, banana which is nice. Taste is very wheaty with a banana finish. Nice feel, easy to drink. The big problem here is a lemon wedge they put on the glass. It leaves some strong aromas which are too lasting. Pretty good hefe, the only beer to drink here.

Got this one on-tap into weisse glass. Pours a very light opaque pale yellow, with a good amount of white head and nice lacing as the beer pours. Lots of apparent yeast floating around. Nose is a ton of bananas, a little of wheat as well. Taste is much more standard hefeweizen taste, although the bananas come through strong as well. Nicely balanced with the wheat, although not much other flavors. Feel is solid, medium bodied with nice carbonation. Overall, a good hefeweizen with a surprising nose.

For a hefe weizen, this beer is quite clear. Not sure if they did any filtering here or used a lower quantity of wheat malt. Sweet tasting and the alcohol is evident in the flavor. Not much of a head to speak of, but laces well down the glass. Very little hop aroma, but a little hop bite in the aftertaste. Decent hefe weizen, but lacks any
"tang" that would make it a great beer.

It may have been the temperature that decided the fate of this glass of beer. I left half of it in the glass when I left (but then, I really didn't need to drink any more than I had at that point either.) It was a dark, papery yellow and bronze color with minimal gas. No head. Cellar temperature.
Malty, round and creamy, it barely suggested banana and clove flavors before finishing dry. Think flat, neutral Schneider Weisse. Something was needed to lift this beer (besides the lime wedge perched on the rim of the glass.) More acidity, more gas, colder temperature, all would have helped. As it were, the effect was leaden and sluggish. A perfect beer for this romper room/polka-dot-door of an establishment.
