Winter Ale

I would not say that this beer was bad, I just did not like it so much. This ale is spiced with nutmeg and you can definately tell. Since I am not a huge fan of this flavor, I didn't care for the flavor or smell so much (mixed with a cascade hop aroma made it somewhat worse). However, if you like a spiced beer, then you'll like it. I saw several other people enjoying the beer that afternoon. It pours a dark brown, ruby color, so it looks good and a little unique. Smell and flavor are overwhelmed with a nutmeg and hints of cascade hops as mentioned before. Looks flat in the glass with no head or lace, but tickles your tongue well with spice and carbonation.
