Golden can (500ml): best before 7 Apr 2013, poured into a bulbous 'Palm' tulip at home on 1 Mar 2013. The can has golden foil over the opening end: almost posh looking!
Usual lager/pilsner looks: pale gold, bright, clean and clear. Typical thin, none staying head of wispy white bubbles too.
No real aroma to talk about: some damp cardboard with hop implants, otherwise nothing.
The taste had a sweet, mildly malty front and middle, with a mini hop bitterness towards the end: nicely balanced but with little flavour or character to set it apart. The finish goes back towards the sweeter end of the flavours as the mouth dries, so not a hop laden brew at all.
Body depth about right for the strength, a summer drink I'd have again.
