Vanilla Porter

A-Deep, dark chestnut highlighted brown with a thin, light tan head that held on and left spotty lace.

S-Light notes of vanilla, roasted malt and a touch of coffee. Not overly aromatic but pleasant.

T-Surprisingly not overly sweet with vanilla as it comes in as more of an accenting flavour. Up front roasted malt with a nice shot of coffee flavours welling up in the background. Building dry finish with warming.

M-Medium body with pleasantly competing coffee bitterness and vanilla sweetness in the finish.

D-Solid and tasty. This brew improved more with warming. A nice balance between bitterness and sweetness making this a pleasure to drink. Nicely done.
