Originally reviewed on October 14, 2006. On tap at the brewpub. Bright yellow pour, with a wisp of creamy white. Aroma is a light waft of sweet malt sugars and hints of rock candy. Flavor is a sweet crisp run of nice pale malt, with a balancing parch of hops. Clean, refreshing and nicely drinkable. I give it high marks for a blond, having no detectable off-flavors, a nice sweet lemony malt flavor, good balance, good body, and good carbonation. ThatÂ’s all I can ask for.

This might technically be a tripel, but I don't know the abv for it or what the brewer is technically calling it, so it's hard for me to say. Regardless, it pours a nice pale golden color -- almost straw-like -- with a thin head that lingers in small islands. Aroma of banana, orange, and cloves. Very fruity. Taste is similar -- apricots and tropical fruits with a light herbalhop bitterness at the finish. Very tasty beer.
